Shropshire faces a number of issues on the housing front with a high proportion of old and poorly heated housing, whilst a lack of affordable  housing for young people, particularly in rural areas, is making it harder for our young people to see a future for themselves here. Our ageing population, who wish to live independently, require housing which is suitable or can be adapted to meet their health and mobility needs.
