Number of compliments recorded in the compliments and complaints system

The number of compliments Shropshire Council has recorded within its customer feedback system remains fairly steady over the last few quarters. Whilst complaints must be formally reported in line with the Council’s procedures but there are no such requirements to report compliments.  During quarter 3 a total of 91 compliments were recorded by the Customer Feedback team.

The number of compliments Shropshire Council has recorded within its customer feedback system has decreased slightly this quarter but quarter 3 the previous year also saw a slight drop so it is hoped numbers will increase again next quarter. Overall there appears to be a trend towards a reduction in the numbers of compliments Shropshire Council receives. However, it should be noted that whilst complaints must be formally reported in line with the Council’s procedures but there are no such requirements to report compliments.
