% of pupils achieving level 4 in reading, writing and mathematics at key stage 2

Key stage 2 progress is tested at the end of the junior period of education when pupils are aged 10 or 11.

Results for 2019 show that the % of primary school children achieving the expected standard is 65%.(Provisional Oct 2019). This is an improvement on results for 2018 (63%).   2019 comparisons show that results are the same as England and higher than those for the West Midlands 63% and of statistical neighbours 62.4%.
