Walking is simple, free, and one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier. Walking groups also provides an opportunity to make new friends. The Shropshire Walking for Health scheme offers a wide range of walks throughout the county. New walkers with a medical condition are advised to seek advice from their GP/Practice Nurse prior to starting with a walking group.
