Rate of hospital admissions caused by unintentional and deliberate injuries in young people (aged 15-24 years), per 10,000 resident population

Injuries are a leading cause of hospitalisation and represent a major cause of premature mortality for children and young people. They are also a source of long-term health issues, including mental health related to experience(s). Public Health England data to March 2017 shows that rates of injuries in Shropshire for 15-24 years old are 119.5, slightly better than those for England (129.2)
